Common questions
When are business returns due?
S-Corp and partnership returns for calendar-year businesses are due March 15 — a month before personal returns. 1099-NEC forms for contractors are due January 31. The Florida LLC annual report is due May 1, and filing late adds a $400 fee.
Should my LLC be an S-Corp?
It can lower self-employment taxes once your profit is high enough to pay yourself a reasonable salary, but it adds payroll and a separate return. We run the numbers with your real figures before recommending it.
